Naturally, leopard geckoes primarily consume small invertebrates such as insects, scorpions and spiders. Occasionally, small vertebrates such as baby mice are also consumed.

5-10% of body weight

If an animal weighs 0.05 kg and eats 10% of its body weight, it will get

0.05 x 0.1 = 0.005 kg feed in total per day

Diet suggestions

Additional advice

Divide the “Feed quantity per day” over at least one feeding moment per day.
Feeding gut-loaded insects will help maintaining a proper vitamin and mineral balance.
The supplements should be given according to the appropriate dosage that is mentioned on the labelling.
Stimulate foraging behaviour by hiding the feed, feeding live insects and scatter feeding (read more about feed enrichment and foraging behaviour).
